First Impressions: Faceless, Alyssa Sheinmel
I found the synopsis of this book quite interesting, as it talks about a young girl who got in an accident and lost part of her facial traits due to severe burns. It could be a great chance to experience and comprehend what a person with similar conditions might go through.
I'm on the first half of the book and it's easy to read, entertaining, and fast-paced. In some parts, it's repetitive for Maisie, our main character, to mention Chirag, her boyfriend, however as all the book is written from his pov, it's acceptable.
So far I'm enjoying reading it, as you get to understand what might come across in someone's thoughts and kind of learn to be more careful if you encounter a similar occasion in your daily life. I'm waiting to see the development of the characters, as there are some issues that remain unsolved for now.
Read ya!
