Synopsis:

My Synopsis:
A raid. One mask. A destroyed live. An unforgettable adventure. Two connected fates.
Since the night the mask went into Laia's house, murdered her grandparents and captured her brother, she hadn't stopped fighting to rescue him.
After talking with the resistance, Laia decided to go to Blackcliff. There she has to spy on the Commandant, Keris Veturia. If she tolds to the resistance the information, they would help her to save his brother (who is in the prison of Kauf).
In Backcliff there are some events to choose the next emperor. The best four masks are fighting for the power; they must fight to prove that they're able to kill, that they aren't losers and that they're faithful to the empire.
But one of the challengers has a kind heart and because of this he won't be able to kill his Friends.
Personal Opinion:
Without a doubt is the best reading I've ever made after Memorias de Idhún.
It's fascinating, charming, addictive,... It sets out an incredible world with magnific characters.
I think we need more literature like this. It teach us values like loyalty, confidence and kidness.
Apart, the races and system -whom the novel is governed- are amazing. I love the idea of masks.
Also is interesting how you dive in the story and how you feel with the characters.
It's a very fast reading. At first, perhaps you'll feel confused, because each chapter is told by one of the protagonists, but just as the plot progress you'll get used to this alternate.
I have to say I like this type of books, because they describe the female character beauty since the start and not only when the MAN loves her. This affair isn't a cliché, even the protagonists have other candidates and romances.
It's an unpredictable love.
Other thing that fascinates me is the combat stages. The author describes it with a lot of passion and this makes you feel part of the fight.
I can't wait for the next part!!! The end is so intriguing!
